About me
I joined the Joplin Schools team as an elementary teacher seven years ago. I love creating a warm, engaging classroom environment each year that is supported by data-driven instruction. I have a non-traditional background with a BA in International Studies from MSSU and an MA in Urban Studies and Youth Development from Eastern University in Philadelphia. I completed my certification through ABCTE and additional trainings in avenues like BIST, LETRS, EMints, Cognitive Coaching, and Adaptive Schools.
